Worked across organization boundaries to rapidly enhance functionality, feature set, and performance of storage solutions. Worked in a small company environment, contacting many OEM suppliers, selecting/evaluating OEM products, certifying SAN products, participating in standard committees, giving presentations and submitting technical papers. Started my own company, developing IBM compatible diagnostics, performance measurement software and capacity planning. Managed software developers and test engineers. Developed business plans, test plans and acceptance test criteria. Optimized the manufacturing test process, by collecting data and analyzing test data from all the test stations and performing correlation experiments. Test Engineer HP Cupertino, California. (September 1999- June 2002)
Enhanced the qualification of multi node High Availability SAN cluster rings attached to shared devices; EMC & Hitachi RAID, FC Switches, MUX, and HP computers via the Hazard and other test programs and utilities.

Developed and executed test plans to satisfy the marketing and development engineering requirements.

Project Manager Hitachi America, Santa Clara (June 1994 to May 1999)

Identified the shortcomings of HitRaid features by studying and performing benchmarks on EMC, Symbios, CMD, Mytex, IBM and SUN storage arrays. Worked with marketing and engineering teams to enhance HitRaid functionality. Formed strategic partnerships with Veritas, Conoley and Emulex to enable HitRaid to complete with EMC Symetrics. Formed strategic alliance partnerships to configure an scaleable, high performance Storage Area Network. Managed a group of talented test engineers and OEM suppliers. to integrate,test,and run benchmarks on Unisys I80386 & M68000 based computers.

Developed on line/stand alone peripheral diagnostic test programs; DASD Statistical Test (DST) for media certification and o n-Line Diagnostic Error Reporting System (OLDERS) compatible to R+, to monitor error detection and field service maintenance.
